On July 25th 2019 I was appointed as a Minister of State at the Department for Transport. I am delighted to have been asked to serve in Her Majesty’s Government by the new Prime Minister, Boris Johnson.
My new role as Minister of State is a vital role within the Department of Transport, with many exciting challenges ahead. The role consists of three main responsibilities; European Union (EU) exit planning, rail and cycling and walking. This will be my third ministerial role after previously serving in the whips office and in the Department for Exiting the European Union (DEXEU) and honourably serving my third Prime Minister.
I would like to thank the previous Ministers within the Department for their all of there hard work, I am now thoroughly looking forward to getting started!
