'Bank, Camera, Action' is the Bank of England's new digital media competition. The competition is aimed at students aged 6-19 years old and the topic this year is 'Climate Change: never too small to make a big difference’.
The competition gives schools the opportunity to create a film that communicates the subject in an interesting and imaginative way. Taking part will give teams the chance to showcase their talents and will appeal to students studying a broad range of subjects.
Students are free to use dance, music, poetry, rap, animation, graphics, cartoons, interviews, news items or any other fantastic ideas you may have. It's completely up to them, the more creative the better!
The deadline for schools to enter is the 30th September, and the last date for entrants to submit their work is the 2nd December. The winning school will receive a cash prize, and each competitor will receive a gift voucher. Click here for more information about the competition.
This is a great opportunity for students and schools to showcase their talents and help to give room to creative students. I would encourage all schools who can get involved to do so.
