My 2023 local Christmas card competition is now open to all primary school-aged children in the Daventry constituency!
As the local Member of Parliament for Daventry, one of the most enjoyable annual events is hosting a Christmas Card competition to give local primary school children the opportunity to create the winning design to be featured on the card I will be sending to the Prime Minister.
Last year I received lots of fantastic entries from primary schools across Daventry and the Villages. The winning design from Daventry Hill School even ended up on the mantelpiece in Downing Street!
There is no criteria for the design – it might be about Daventry, Christmas, Parliament, or something completely different.
Below is a template that can be used, however, the design can be on A4 or A5 (landscape or portrait). Please ensure entries are clearly marked (on the back of the design) with the child's name, age, class, and school. For protective purposes, only the first names of the children will be printed. 3D designs are fine to use glitter however glitter isn’t recommended on 2D designs due to printing/scanning issues.
Please post/deliver your entries to my constituency office before the closing date on Friday 10th November by 5 pm:
