East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS) is developing a new vision, which will set out a number of long-term ambitions for us to achieve over the next five years and beyond. They want to make sure that these ambitions reflect the aspects that are most important to the patients and communities they serve, and to everyone who works for and with them. For this reason, they are asking everyone who has an interest in our services to get involved in shaping our vision.
EMAS have already started to have a number of conversations and have developed some ideas based on the feedback we have received so far. They would like to invite you to share your thoughts on these as well as anything else you think we should consider.
Please see a link below which will take you to a website that guides you through the draft suggestions and provides the opportunity to leave your ideas and comments as you go along. It will take around 10 to 15 minutes to complete, depending on how many thoughts you’d like to share. Please note that they will need your comments by the end of Friday 24 August, after which the link will close.

The feedback received will directly inform you of their vision and future ambitions, and they will look forward to sharing these widely with everyone in the Autumn.
