I am pleased to report to the resident of Boughton and Boughton Parish Council that have today received a letter stating that the planning application to build up to 75 houses on the land off Holly Lodge Drive has been unsuccessful.
It is important to me that the villages of my constituency retain their individuality and distinctiveness. Therefore, it was essential that I supported the residents of Boughton and the Parish Council in preventing further creeping of development towards the village of Boughton. This rejected planning application, if successful, would have only exacerbated residents' already inconvenient situation they face from current developments.
Developments can cause severe upset for local residents so I am pleased and proud to say that on this occasion this will not be the case.
