On the 18th May 2014, Chris Heaton-Harris MP launched a petition which calls for fair fuel prices for the residents of his Daventry constituency.

Daventry Fair Fuel Price Campaign

For too long the price of petrol and diesel in Daventry has been much higher than the surrounding major towns and cities.

Today, 9th May 2014, prices at the town's four petrol stations were 3p or 4p per litre higher than the nearest petrol station in Northampton (Shell, Harpole and Sainsburys) and prices in Rugby, Leicester and Coventry were cheaper still (according to petrolprices.com).

It is time for an investigation to find out why the people of Daventry pay so much more people in neighbouring towns.
