Over the past 3 months, the Big Lottery Fund has announced over £30,000 of funding for 4 projects in 'Daventry'.
National Lottery funding can make a real difference within communities as you can see with the following projects that are taking place within our community.
These projects include:
- Barby Pre-School:
Nearly £1,000 will help improve resources for a service that provides the support for the needs of children who face barriers to accessing safe outdoor play facilities.
- Wilby Riding For the Disabled Trust:
£6,500 will offer children with disabilities the opportunity to take part in pony riding, improving their physical and social development and confidence through fun activities, and providing a support network for families.
- Rothersthorpe Church of England Primary School:
Nearly £1,000 will help this school install safe play facilities within the grounds, developing a new community space.
- Tat Con:
Nearly £4,000 will help stage an event where local young people can obtain advice and take part in activities, which enable them to learn how to improve their physical and mental health.
