Recently I had the pleasure of visiting the Pervade Software team at their Daventry office in the Icon Innovation Centre. It was an exciting opportunity for me to see first-hand the innovative work they do and how they contribute to protecting UK-based organisations from cyber threats.
During my visit I received an insightful briefing on Pervade’s involvement in supporting the UK’s Cyber Essentials scheme, in collaboration with the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) and the IASME Consortium. This scheme plays a crucial role in enhancing cyber security resilience of businesses and organisations across the UK. It offers valuable guidelines to assist companies in implementing fundamental cyber security measures to protect against cyber threats.
Another highlight of the visit was learning about the Police CyberAlarm scheme which Pervade operate in partnership with the National Police Chief’s Council (NPCC). This scheme is designed to foster cooperation between the UK Police and member organisations. It enables automatic reporting of cyber-attacks on their systems, helping to detect and prevent attacks. This initiative is making a significant contribution to reducing cyber threats and crime across thousands of organisations in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
The visit provided me with valuable insights into the world of cyber security and the cutting-edge solutions being developed within the Daventry constituency. I am grateful for the opportunity to have discussed Pervade’s work and look forward to meeting with them again soon.
